I am here in AZ cleaning my house and listening to my iPod and "Jenny" came on. I had to stop what I was doing as to not miss a note because them memories came flooding back with such power. It is funny how 26 years after I first heard you sing it (along with John and Tim in Winnipeg), it is like I fall in love with it as if it is the first time. I love all your songs, but that one holds a very special place in my heart. I also wanted to thank you again so much for singing it at my sister Patty's 40th birthday. I am desiring to teach it to my childrens choir for Christmas and would like to know where to contact Ms. Shuford for permission. Sheet music would be a major bonus! I can't wait to see what God does with this 'coincidence'! Hello!

Between pastoring, parenting, and trying to be a good husband, it doesn't leave me much time for song writing. I've found it to be like a spiritual discipline myself as much as an art. In the last 5 - 7 years, I've written only 2 dozen songs with maybe a handful that I think are truly worth performing in a variety of contexts.
